Lax̱g̱alts’ap Village Government extends its appreciation and gratitude to the Indigenous Food Sovereignty Association for its very generous donation of seeds!
Photographed above is LVG’s Adult In-Home Care Clerk, Genevieve McKay who accepted the very generous donation along with LVG’s Food Sovereignty Coordinator, Jacob McKay.
McKay has been retained by LVG to coordinate the construction and mobilization of a new greenhouse and gardening program in the community this Spring, and these seeds will go a long way in getting things going.
