Marie McKay took the bold step as a mature student to complete the requirements to attain her high school dogwood diploma, which she completed in 2024.
Following that accomplishment, in the Fall of 2025 the young mother of four continued pursuing her educational endeavors and enrolled in a 10-month online Education Assistant Program. When she completes the program in June, Marie will be a certified Education Assistant.
Marie currently works at the Alvin A. McKay Elementary School (AAMES) and looks forward to continuing serving her community.
